What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We Answer Service Terms Agreement – provides additional protection for We Answer, above and beyond the Terms of Service. You need to put this in the workflow of the We Answer website so that (a) a customer has an opportunity to fully review the We Answer Service Terms Agreement (by prominent link to the Agreement), (b) he must click a box where he agrees and acknowledges all terms to proceed including “binding arbitration and waiver of a jury trial”, and (c) you keep a record that the customer agreed to these terms along with a copy of the terms (likely in a database, associated with the customer’s record). If the customer files a lawsuit later, you need to be able to prove that the customer had an opportunity to review the Agreement, agreed to it, and the actual version of the Agreement that he signed. You can prove this a variety of ways. The best way is through an e-signature protocol, like HelloSign, DocuSign, etc., but it can also be a click-box arrangement. We Answer has the right to revise the Agreement and if you do in an important, material way, you need to provide notice by email, which you see all the time when internet companies update their terms, privacy policies, etc.
I want to emphasize that everyone who visits the website of We Answer is a “user”. But a “user” becomes a “customer” when he signs up for service. That’s who the We Answer Service Terms Agreement applies to—the customer.
